Always Worthy Of Living

Life is a gift.

Of all the particles in the universe, all the galaxies, and ways molecules could join together, you were formed - with the gift of life.

Life is nearly impossible to achieve, and yet so easily taken. Cherish the gift of life.

Build a Life Worth Living.

This is a heart-to-heart, let’s sort your life out.

“Heart-to-heart” conversations in the military: speaking up to a fellow service-member when you know they need help. Fix the problems. Sort your life out. Here are the tools.

Everyone is a leader when it comes to helping a fellow American come back to fight for and building a life worth living.

Connect and Take Care

of Your Family.

Improve your Financial Literacy

Improve your health

and environment.

Find or Form a Supportive Community.

Supportive Communities

From day one, the military pushes us to work together as a single unit. Now that we’re out, find yourself a group of like-minded peers to push forward. Join neighborhood groups, veteran groups, community service organizations or find your drive through religious and church groups. FIGHT ISOLATION.

Through communities, you can help yourself and your peers around you. Two is one, and one is none. Check on your military friends along the way.

Your Health and Environment

The military does “health and welfare” checks for a reason. While you’ve received your DD-214, it’s still a good idea to keep yourself somewhat healthy, and not live in a rat-infested location.

There are plenty of resources to get your life squared away, and you can start by talking to your network, or local Veterans Service Office.

Take Care of Your Family

You are a big deal to your child, sibling and parents. You make the decision on how you carry on with life. Your family is never better without you when you stay on the good path, and be present.

Improve yourself for the better to take care of your family. Take responsibility in life and push forward for the good.

Improve Your Financial Literacy

Get education. Find an apprenticeship. Find a job. Start a business. Get financially secure.

It can be difficult for some one us to learn how to get ahead in life, but there are resources out there to help you move forward. From education, resume workshops, job fairs, to entrepreneurial contacts… This is America, and we can work hard to secure a good future.

Armor Up.

Armor up as you step into your next mission in life.

We wouldn’t expect you to step out on patrol without the equipment you need, or armor to protect you. Step out into life with “mental armor” and the equipment that you need to stay on track.

Equipment check each other, ask for help if you need to. It’s no different from when you were still in the military!

  • No question is stupid. The military did not fully prepare us for a transition back to our families and the civilian world. Many of us are veterans, and many of us had questions coming back, now we get to help our fellow veterans.

  • You can ask questions on behalf of your loved ones!

  • We can potentially help with your financial stability with veteran benefits, your outlook in life with our network of mental health partners, or tap into our veteran community in the SouthEast Texas region!
